Accompanied by the documentary project, Converge/Preserve: Argentina's Last Jewish Gauchos, this multimedia project was exhibited during Berlin Art Week 2024 in WIRWIR Project Space along with other artists from the Picture Berlin Artist Residency. The Jewish cowboy community in northern Argentina is slowly disappearing due to the ongoing recession - with that, spaces and stories of migration become obsolete. Converge/Preserve represents an effort to combat obsoletion, to highlight the importance of preserving culture amidst pressures put on diasporas worldwide to converge and integrate in order to survive, and to celebrate the uniqueness of subcultures that emerge from migration, wars and dictatorships.
