Manipulation of Man

Manipulation of Man explores how a camera can tell the truth but can also manipulate a moment, a person, a story. Photographers have to make decisions for how they want to present their photo and what it is aiming to achieve. What do we leave out and what we amplify is guided by certain internal rules we follow but can also be simply a way to question the traditional ways of looking at photos. Manipulation of Man plays with the idea of how a person should be photographed and presents visual abstractions of a human body that are made possible only through the photographic medium.
